OUR POLICIES

CHECK-IN/OUT

Check-in: 4:00 p.m./Check-out: Noon
Late check-out up to 1:00 p.m. may be available for an additional $50. Add late check-out on to your reservation as an enhancement or check with the front desk at check-in.

PET POLICY

Hotel Providence is a pet-friendly hotel. Guests staying with pets will be provided with a pet bed and a dog treat at check-in. Guests must have a valid credit card on their reservation. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $75 will be charged per stay per room. One pet is allowed per guest room. If guest plans to have two or more animals in the room, he or she must contact the hotel directly to discuss. Only dogs are allowed. In the event a dog begins to bark or is the cause of guest complaints, the guest will be asked to remove the pet. The pet must be placed in a carrier when housekeeping or engineering enters the room. The guest will be required to sign a document accepting complete financial responsibility for any damage caused by the pet. Guide dogs for the blind or otherwise disabled are exempt from the pet policy –there is no pet fee.

AGE POLICY

Guests must be 21 years of age to rent a room. Guests 17 years of age and younger are considered children.

CASH PAYING GUESTS

Guests paying with cash must pay the full stay's room charges and tax plus a $100 per day deposit is required for incidentals at check-in.

DEBIT CARD POLICY

The use of a debit card will initiate, at the time of check-in, an immediate deduction from your bank account for your room rate, inclusive of tax, for all room nights plus $100 per night for incidentals. Upon check-out, any unused funds will be credited back to your account. Based upon the business rules of your bank, it may take 72 hours or longer for your bank to process this back to your account.

If you would like to pay for another guest’s room, please contact the hotel at (401) 861-8000.

A non-refundable cleaning fee of $75 will be charged per stay per room (not per pet). One pet is allowed per guest room. If guest plans to have two or more animals in the room, he or she must contact the hotel directly to discuss. Only dogs and cats are allowed. Extreme or wild animals (snakes, birds, pit bulls, etc.) are not authorized. In the event a dog begins to bark or is the cause of guest complaints, the guest will be asked to remove the pet. The pet must be placed in a carrier when housekeeping or engineering enters the room. The guest will be required to sign a document accepting complete financial responsibility for any damage caused by the pet. Guide dogs for the blind or otherwise disabled are exempt from the pet policy –there is no weight limit or pet fee.

SMOKING POLICY

The hotel is 100% non-smoking. It is up to the discretion of hotel management how much a guest may be charged for smoking on property.

This information is only used to identify you as a contributor to the comment section of the respective blog post and is not passed on to any of the third party data processors detailed below. Only your name and email address that you supplied will be shown on the public-facing website.

Your comments and it's associated personal data will remain on this site until we see fit to either

CONTACT FORMS AND EMAIL LINKS

Should you choose to contact us using the contact form on our Contact us page, none of the data that you supply will be stored by this website or passed to / be processed by any of the third party data processors defined in section below. Instead the data will be collated into an email and sent to us over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). Our SMTP servers are protected by TLS (sometimes known as SSL) meaning that the email content is encrypted before being sent across the internet. The email content is then decrypted by our local computers and devices.

EMAIL NEWSLETTER

If you choose to join our email newsletter, the email address that you submit to us will be forwarded to Benchmark who provide us with email marketing services. We consider Benchmark to be a third party data processor (see section below). The email address that you submit will not be stored within this website's own database or in any of our internal computer systems.

Your email address will remain within Benchmark's database for as long as we continue to use Benchmark's services for email marketing or until you specifically request removal from the list. You can do this by unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links contained in any email newsletters that we send you or by requesting removal via email. When requesting removal via email, please send your email to us using the email account that is subscribed to the mailing list.
